Tutor jobs with Taylor Tuition

Application

What am I applying for?

You are applying to join our pool of tutors. Vetting and signing the agreements confirm that you are eligible to be put forward for tutoring roles with us.

What happens after I submit my application?

On submission, the vetting steps open on your onboarding page: your details, a recorded introduction, two references, the safeguarding self-declaration and an Enhanced DBS certificate.

How is my data used?

How your data is used, and who sees it, is set out in the Tutor Privacy Notice.

Vetting

How do I provide an Enhanced DBS certificate?

If you hold an Enhanced DBS certificate for the child workforce registered with the DBS Update Service, enter its details at the DBS step. Otherwise, the DBS step sets out how a new check is applied for and paid for through Care Check.

How do references work?

Two references are required. You name each referee at the references step, and we send each referee a request by email.

Agreements

Where are employment status, pay and other terms set out?

Your employment status, fees, payment, insurance and other obligations are set out in the tutor agreement, which opens at the agreements step once vetting is complete. You can read it in full there before you sign.

After onboarding

When will I get students?

When your agreements are signed, you join the pool: roles matching your subjects appear in the portal, and you choose which, if any, to put yourself forward for.
